How to Match with Ocean Shipping Containers

Exporting a container house involves shipping it as “cargo” inside a “shipping container.” The matching method depends on the house type:

For Standard and Modular Units:
These houses are built to standard ISO dimensions, meaning they are the shipping containers.
- Matching Solution: No additional shipping container is needed. The completed unit is simply lifted directly onto the container ship’s deck or into its hold and secured like any other container. These are shipped as break-bulk cargo.

For Units with Luxurious Interiors or Extra Attachments:
To prevent damage to high-end interiors during transit, additional measures are sometimes taken:
- Matching Solution: The completed unit is shipped as the container itself, but its interior is stuffed, braced, and secured with wooden frames, foam, and straps. Alternatively, interior components may be disassembled and shipped inside the main structure or a separate container for on-site assembly.
